Ferries from Eemshafen to Norway are more popular than expected

The ferry between Groningen’s Eemshafen and the Norwegian city of Kristiansand is more crowded than expected, Holland Norway Lines told local broadcaster RTV Noord.
The service will launch in April 2022 and so far 186,000 people have passed, 36,000 more than expected.
About 60,000 tickets have already been booked for 2023, marketing chief Elmer Roukema told the station. “We have had a surprising number of bookings for next summer, as well as winter sports fans heading to Norway for the snow.”
The 2,500-passenger MS Romantica operates three times a week between the two locations. It takes about 18 hours.
