THE HAGUE (AFN) – The Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) takes action against an energy company that simply stops supplying gas and electricity to consumers with a fixed energy contract. The company does this if customers do not agree to an increase in their previously agreed rate. The regulator is warning the company to resume deliveries. If the provider does not do this, a penalty of 15,000 euros per week must be paid.
