The Ajax Champions League campaign got off to a great start Wednesday night, beating the Portuguese club Sporting CP 1-5, including four goals from Debutante Sebastien Haller.
Haller signed Ajax from West Ham last winter with a club record fee of € 22.5 million, but was removed from the list of European tournaments due to administrative errors.
Steven Berghuis, who moved from rival Feyenoord to Ajax this season, scored five goals.
