Cleaning Netherlands thinks this is ‘not done’. It is not up to the client to oblige the cleaner to demonstrate whether he has been vaccinated, recovered or tested negative. There is no legal basis for this either.
Corona admission ticket not mandatory
There is currently no obligation for employees to show the corona pass. That is not allowed by law. The law that makes the mandatory use of the corona pass possible is specifically aimed at visitors and customers in four sectors: catering, culture, sports and events. Incidentally, this obligation does not apply everywhere in these sectors.
According to the Working Conditions Act, the employer is obliged to ensure healthy and safe working conditions together with the employee and the client. However, the employer may not oblige an employee to be vaccinated against corona and an employee does not have to say whether or not he has been vaccinated. Logically, the employee must cooperate in order to make it as safe as possible in a different, proportional way for himself, but also for colleagues and third parties.
