According to variety Daughters Wynonna, who formed the duo with her mother, and actress Ashley Judd attended the ceremony. The emotional sisters read, among other things, a Bible passage. The two announced on Saturday that Naomi had died at the age of 76. “We have lost our beautiful mother due to mental health issues,” they said on social media.

Several artists paid tribute to The Judds during the ceremony. One of them, Brandi Carlile, had to do this through a video because the singer had contracted corona. She posted the video on which she Love Can Build a Bridge sings with her daughter, on Instagram, writing: “We pray for Wynonna and Ashley Judd, who woke up today to a world without their mother.”

The Judds released six studio albums and scored several hits. The duo has also won five Grammy Awards. In addition to the mother-daughter duo, Ray Charles, Pete Drake and Eddie Bayers were also inducted into the Country Hall of Fame on Sunday.
