Daley Blind frees Ajax move after 333 games

As expected, defender Daly Blind and Ajax have reached an agreement to terminate the contract, allowing the player a free transfer to the club of his choice.

Telegraaf reported earlier this month that the 32-year-old Blind had submitted his request before the World Cup. His contract is due to expire next summer.

Blind returned to Amsterdam in 2018 after playing for Manchester United and played a key role in the side that won the Dutch league title in 2019, 2021 and 2022. In total, Blind made 333 appearances for Ajax and scored 13 goals. club goals.

Antwerp is considered one of the clubs after the blinds. His father Danny also leaves the Ajax supervisory board.
