Dutchman who has to be detained in a German cell at Schiphol for another 15 years

A Dutchman was arrested at Schiphol who has to go to jail in Germany for another fifteen years for a drug offense. The Marechaussee reports this. In the Netherlands, the man also has to spend more than a month in jail and pay a fine of 1,600 euros for a drug offense.

This afternoon, Marechaussees checked a car with a German license plate that was in front of the departure hall at the airport. The driver showed a French passport, which turned out to be false. When the Marechaussees tried to arrest him, the man fled on foot. He jumped a few meters over a guardrail during his flight, but was still arrested.

The man is detained and will probably later be extradited to the German authorities.
