Eleven-year-old driver chases oncoming traffic by flashing his lights | Car

An 11-year-old boy from Werther, Germany, has been arrested after he found the keys to his father’s Audi and went on a joyride with an 11-year-old boyfriend.

However, the very young driver, driving in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, ignored the most important rule for drivers without a license, which is that it is better not to attract attention if your head is just above the wheel.

After a few hundred meters he encountered another motorist on a narrow road, after which he decided to chase the oncoming car to the side by flashing the man with a high beam. The oncoming traffic noticed the young age of the occupants as they drove past and alerted the police.

The young driver was arrested further down the road, after which the duo was brought home. Since the boy is a minor, a procedure will be started against ‘including the parents’, according to the Gütersloh police.
