More than a week ago, on February 15, Fieldlab Events kicked off a series of pilot events during the Back 2 Live business conference in the Beatrix Theater in Utrecht. There were 500 visitors present. All attendees were tested both before and after, including Mayor Sharon Dijksma. After the conference, an employee tested positive for the corona virus.
According to Fieldlab Events, the infected employee did not infect anyone else with the corona virus during his work. “This is evident from the PCR tests that the visitors and employees have undergone five days after the event,” said a spokesman.
All attendees were given a PCR test on the Saturday prior to the experiment. It turned out that six people had the corona virus. They were not allowed to go to the event. According to the organization, the employee had not yet been infected. The employee is probably infected with the corona virus between the test on Saturday and the start of the congress on Monday. “People who have been in close contact with this employee or others, who are known to have received a message via the Coronamelder App, have all taken a negative test.”
