FC Den Bosch for more than half in American hands | Dutch football

FC Den Bosch partly comes into American hands. The club from the Kitchen Champion Division reached an agreement on Friday with investors from Pacific Media Group, Partners Path Capital, Randy Frankel, Chien Lee and Krishen Sud. They own more than 50 percent of the club’s shares. The existing shareholders are Forza FC Den Bosch and the Foundation for the Preservation of Paid Football ‘s-Hertogenbosch.

The so-called ‘golden priority share’, which guarantees, among other things, the name, club colours, club culture and location, remains the property of Stichting Behoud Voetbal ‘s-Hertogenbosch, FC Den Bosch reports.

The Americans previously invested in other European clubs, such as Barnsley FC (England), FC Thun (Switzerland), KV Oostende (Belgium), AS Nancy (France) and Esbjerg fB (Denmark).

,,FC Den Bosch cannot and does not want to afford unrealistic adventures anymore. All shareholders commit to a multi-year plan in which, in addition to the sporting ambitions, youth academy and corporate social responsibility are important pillars,” says general manager Rob Almering.

“Our common goal is to participate again in the foreseeable future for the top places in the Kitchen Champion Division, to establish sustainable, healthy business operations and a strong organization that is ready for the future. That is important for the continuity of FC Den Bosch. Thanks to the investments, we can soon leave the lowest category, which includes clubs that have to work hard on their financial balance.”
