Flash delivery company Getir wants to expand to another six Dutch cities in the coming months. The company, originally Turkish, is one of the deliverers that has recently settled in the Netherlands with the promise to deliver groceries within a few minutes. Bicycle couriers are already doing this in Amsterdam, The Hague, Leiden and Rotterdam. Utrecht, Haarlem, Eindhoven, Tilburg, Delft and Breda will soon be added.

In addition to Getir, Flink, Gorillas and Zapp are also active with flash delivery in the Netherlands. In Amsterdam, the many couriers also led to complaints about traffic nuisance, city newspaper Het Parool reported earlier this month.

Getir claims to be the world’s first grocery delivery person to deliver orders very quickly. This year, the company raised 1.1 billion dollars, converted 969 million euros, in investments. The entire company is worth $7.7 billion. Competitors also collect a lot of new investments. Gorillas raised capital last month from meal delivery company Delivery Hero, which participated in an investment round totaling just under $1 billion.
