Frisian students carry out DDoS attacks at their own school

The Frisian school CSG Comenius Mariënburg in Leeuwarden was attacked by two of his own students by means of a DDOS attack. As a result, the school suffered from a bad internet connection for over a week. The school is considering severe sanctions against the students. This is reported by the Algemeen Dagblad.

Due to the DDOS attacks, which are often carried out by cyber criminals, the school suffered from a bad internet connection for some time. Among other things, this interfered with the online lessons.

Two students are known to be behind the attacks, but the school is not over yet. It is therefore suspected that more students are involved. The site director Freek Polter calls the actions serious and is considering severe sanctions against the students.

There are about 1500 HAVO and VWO students at CSG Comenius Mariënburg.
