Kensington closes the era of singer Eloi Youssef with greatest hits album | show

The band Kensington releases its latest album in its current formation. The group announced this on Twitter this morning. “Looking back isn’t really our thing, but as we close this era, we think it’s the perfect time togreatest hitsalbum,” the band wrote.

The album will be available as a stream and download, as well as on CD and LP. The album will be released on August 26. ‘A collection of songs from a discography of which we are very proud. This is our last release in this line-up and a celebration of everything we’ve created together over the past seventeen years,” the band said.

In November last year, Kensington announced that frontman Eloi Youssef is leaving the band. ‘There is no quarrel or disagreement, but there is a difference in vision for the future’, according to the band, which also consists of Jan Haker, Casper Starreveld and Niles Vandenberg. The band’s last six concerts in the current formation are scheduled for August 27 and 30 and September 1, 2, 3 and 4 in the Ziggo Dome.
