KNVB Campus in Zeist transformed into Oranjecamping during European Championship women’s football | Dutch football

Hundreds of fans and fanatical followers of the ‘Oranjeleeuwinnen’ will soon be watching the European Championship matches of Dutch women’s football together. During the European Championship women’s football, the KNVB Campus will be transformed into a special ‘Camping van Oranje’.

The campsite in the Zeisterbossen will be open from 9 July. 600 fans will have the opportunity to stay overnight in a tent on the KNVB Campus on match days. At the campsite, all matches can be viewed on a large screen.

There is also a barbecue and various activities are organized for visitors. For example, there is the possibility to play a game of football (on the field or on the playstation) and the VAR room can be visited. Kicky, the mascot of Orange, is also present.

There is also a special Orange March around every match of the Dutch team. The campsite will remain open as long as the team of national coach Mark Parsons remains in the tournament. The Orange squad starts the European Championship on 9 July. In the group stage, the team plays against Sweden, Portugal and Switzerland.

In England, the Netherlands defends the European title that was conquered in 2017. At the time, the Orange squad won in the final against Denmark (4-2).
