Lamborghini of 300,000 euros ends up in more after driver error | Car

A 31-year-old Swiss has landed in a lake with his €300,000 Lamborghini Huracan after a mistake while reversing. He made a mistake of pedal with disastrous consequences. Getting the car out turned out to be a difficult task.

The painful mistake happened on Tuesday evening around 11 p.m. at Mondsee in Austria. The driver wanted to turn around in Innerschwand and backed into a parking lot. In doing so, however, he accidentally pressed the accelerator instead of the brake. As a result, the very expensive sports car ended up right in the lake.

The car eventually drifted up to 15 meters from the bank and sank to a depth of 5 meters. Fortunately, the driver was still able to swim to the side. His passenger, who got out for the parking maneuver, called emergency services. The 31-year-old driver was taken to a hospital.

Getting the sports car out of the water proved more difficult than expected. The fire brigade gathered 31 employees, including five divers. Using a tow truck and a lift bag, it eventually took about three hours to get the Lamborghini back on dry land. The car would be a total loss.
