CORONAVIRUSIn many places in the country, catering businesses are opening today, just like yesterday in Valkenburg, Limburg, in protest. Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht and The Hague have indicated that they do not allow the action. With the relaxed package of measures announced by the cabinet yesterday, the daily number of infections may rise to 75,000 or 80,000 per day. “Those are huge numbers,” Prime Minister Mark Rutte admits. More than 35,000 infections were reported on Friday. Follow all developments around the coronavirus in our live blog.
