Lucinda Riley, Bestselling Series Writer The Seven Sisters, passed away at the age of 55. Her publisher has announced this.
Riley passed away peacefully, the family said in a statement. “We realize this will come as a huge shock to many as most people didn’t know Lucinda had been suffering from cancer for four years.”
Publisher Sander Knol was previously informed by the author. “It’s been a while since she suddenly ordered prosecco one sunny morning in Italy and said she wanted to tell me something. Despite her sad news, we were celebrating life that had changed forever.”
“Up to the appearance of The seventh sister Lucinda showed her impressive life force and unwavering dedication to writing and her books. ‘It’s all wonderful!‘ she wrote cheerfully in her last message.
More than 30 million books of the series have been published worldwide The Seven Sisters sold, three million copies were sold in the Netherlands and Belgium. Part 7 was recently released.
