Iranians mourned the downing of Ukrainian International Airlines flight PS752 and the victims of the Iranian regime in Kukamp, The Hague on Sunday.
A plane carrying 176 people was shot down by Iran’s Revolutionary Guard after taking off from the Iranian capital Tehran on January 8, 2020. The entire crew, mostly Iranians and Canadians, died.
Demonstrations and commemorations were also held on Sunday in other countries such as Belgium, Germany, Canada, the United States and South Korea. According to the organization, it took place in about 150 locations.
Several speakers were present, including Farah Karimi, Member of Parliament for GroenLinks, and several relatives of the victims. The memorial service began at 2:00 pm. The organization expects about 2,000 participants.
