Claire, the 3-year-old daughter of Maxime Meiland, will not often be in the picture next season Chateau Meiland. The family has been reprimanded by the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment (SZW).
Her grandmother Erica tells this in an interview with Veronica Magazine. “Our little Claire is more or less going out this season”, she reveals. The ministry has put a stop to Claire’s TV appearances. “The SWZ Inspectorate allows her to appear on TV only five times a year. A great pity, also for the viewers. ”
It is all super awkward, she thinks. “Claire always just bumped along, but the inspection pretends that she is hard at work. If we are now playing and Claire is somewhere where we need to be, then she has to be out of the picture: come on girl, just go behind the iPad for a while – which she doesn’t want at all.

The producer is working with a lawyer to see if they can do something about it, because according to the Meilandjes it is ‘not workable’. “She can probably still be seen in the first three episodes, but then there were two ladies from the inspection …”
The reality show, which won the Golden Televier Ring in 2019, is back on SBS 6 from March 1.
