The caretaker cabinet plans to give bonuses to everyone who works in healthcare and earns less than twice this year’s most frequent wages, medical minister Tamara van Ark told MP. ..
The minister said the bonus would be a net amount between € 200 and € 240, depending on the number of requests. The government has secured € 720 million to fund it.
Physical therapists and midwives will also participate this year. As with last year, when the bonus is € 1,000, cleaners, self-employed nurses and agency staff are also eligible.
The mode of income in the Netherlands is currently around 36,000 euros per year.
