Suzuki presents the new S-Cross today. The SUV packs efficient hybrid technology in a new look. The new S-Cross will be in Dutch showrooms next month.
Suzuki has made the new generation S-Cross much tougher than the previous model. Partly due to the large ground clearance, angular wheel arch edges, large black grill and sleeker lines, the SUV gets a more robust look. Completely in line with the wishes of potential buyers of this type of car.
The new S-Cross comes standard with the 48V Smart Hybrid powertrain. This gives you a 129 hp 1.4 petrol engine that is assisted by a 13.6 hp 10 kW electric motor. These are coupled to a six-speed manual transmission. Optionally, you can opt for an automatic transmission, also with six gears. Four-wheel drive can also be checked on the option list.
Speaking of options, Suzuki offers the S-Cross in three different trim levels: Comfort, Select and Style. The basic version is already quite reasonable in the options. For example, in the S-Cross you get a 7-inch display for the infotainment system with Carplay & Android, LED lighting, adaptive cruise control, Lane Departure Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition and Vehicle Sway Warning.
The Select version gets everything from the Comfort version, with extra options such as heated front seats, Blind Spot Monitor and Smart Entry & Start System.
The top version, the Style, comes with all the aforementioned options and as extras leather upholstery, a 9-inch screen, 17-inch wheels and a 360-degree camera. A panoramic sliding/tilting roof is optional. The new Suzuki S-Cross will be available in eight different exterior colours.
The new S-Cross can be seen at the Dutch Suzuki dealer from Friday 17 December. Prices will be announced shortly.
