Next year new episodes of audience hit Make Up Your Mind | Show

The success of last night could not fail. RTL today announced that it will come up with new episodes of the RTL 4 program next year Make Up Your Mind. The initially one-off show, in which famous Dutch people disguise as drag queens, turned out to be mega popular and was watched by an average of 1,218,000 people.

Seven well-known Dutch men passed by, including Tygo Gernandt, Peter R. de Vries, Wolter Kroes, Jim Bakkum and Domien Verschuuren who had been transformed into drag queens. The professional jury, consisting of Fred van Leer, Nikkie de Jager, Edsilia Rombley and Ruben Nicolai, sent home a well-known ‘drag’ each round, led by Envy Peru. Before that, the panel had to guess who was hiding under the professional makeup. Barry Atsma fooled the jury for the longest time with his red make-up and wig and won the show. He received the prize from the surprise of the evening: Peter R. de Vries aka Miss Beauty Case.

The reactions on social media were positive. Many viewers regretted that the program was only broadcast once. “Make Up Your Mind is top entertainment with a very important message: everyone can be who they want to be”, says RTL boss Peter van de Vorst. “I am proud that we can already announce that there will be a sequel in 2022 Make Up Your Mind and that it will certainly not stay with one episode. “

In the special Videoland program Make Up Your Mind: The Road to the Catwalk shows how the candidates have undergone the process.
