OM investigation into abuse by Lil Kleine still in full swing

It is still fresh in our memory that the images were released in which rapper Lil Kleine abused his girlfriend. The investigation of the Public Prosecution Service (OM) into his actions is still ongoing. He is suspected of attempted aggravated assault on his ex-fiancée Jaimie Vaes.

In mid-February, the Public Prosecution Service started the investigation into Jorik Scholten, as the rapper is actually called. Not too long ago the shocking images of Scholten and his then girlfriend came out. The rapper, who was not exactly known as the ideal son-in-law, had to go to jail for this. But soon he was out again. For this arrest, Lil Kleine was sentenced to 120 hours of community service. Why? He previously assaulted a man in an Amsterdam nightclub. But the judiciary is apparently not finished with Scholten, because the investigation into abuse is not yet completed.

The images showed how the rapper clamped Vaes’ head between a car door. The relationship eventually did not last after all the fuss and the couple broke up. Later Vaes told about her toxic relationship with Khalid and Sophie. Where she indicated that she had filed a complaint against her ex-partner.

Earlier this week Vaes appeared on television again at RTL Boulevard, where she said she and Lil Kleine are no longer seeing each other. According to her, Scholten no longer sees his son Lio. “Lio is with me. I have full care for Lio at this point. He doesn’t see him. And that could undoubtedly change very soon. However, there are a few other issues that need to be resolved first. And then there is room for that again,” she said. It is unclear whether this restriction has been imposed by the police or whether the two exes have chosen this themselves. Vaes also said that the father of her child does not pay alimony. “I had to arrange that with my lawyer through his lawyer. It then became a kind of fight. Yeah, after the fourth, fifth, sixth disappointment, I was like, ‘Keep it nice then’. Then I’ll do it alone.”

Reality series Jaimie Vaes

It is now also known that a reality series about Vaes is in the making. The first season In The Vaes Lane was shown on Discovery+ and this series will therefore be continued. This also includes relationship problems and family issues.

During his career, Lil Kleine was assisted by management agency NAMAM. Shortly after the above incident, the agency removed the rapper from the website, but a real break-up did not follow. It is unknown whether the management and Scholten are still working together.

Forced video?

Vaes also fell under the management umbrella of NAMAM, the company of Nathan Moszkowicz, who is the son of former lawyer Bram Moszkowicz. At the beginning of April, Vaes announced that the agency put her ex’s interests above her interests. Vaes later claimed that she was forced to record a certain video that the couple released on social media. In that video, the couple discussed the alleged abuse in Ibiza and both debunked that things had escalated to such an extent. The agency never responded to these allegations.
