One injured in Rotterdam shooting.Two suspects arrested, one on train

One person was injured in a shooting at Profeniel Singel in Rotterdam on Tuesday night. Police arrested two suspects, including one who was on the train at Abu Koud station.

Police called the shooting around 9:30 pm. The victim was conscious and talking to paramedics when he was taken to the hospital for treatment. Police said there had been an altercation between several people prior to the shooting.

Police arrested one suspect in a tunnel near Breidorp shortly after the shooting. About an hour and a half later, a second suspect was arrested on a train at Abu Koud station. Police seized a firearm from the suspect.

Police are investigating and are urging witnesses to come forward.

In another incident, a man was stabbed at Rahn’s house in The Hague. Paramedics took the victim to a hospital and arrested four suspects.
