Explosion in 3 homes north of Amsterdam within 1 hour

Three explosions occurred between 3:15 and 3:50 am on Monday, shaking residents of the Amsterdam North region. Explosives exploded at the entrances of three homes, causing minor damage but no injuries. A 21-year-old man has been detained on suspicion of involvement. at 5 o’clock report.

All three explosions occurred east of Nywe Leeuwarderweg. The first, at 3:15 a.m., sparked an explosion in a house on Ukur Street, which was quickly extinguished by firefighters.

A second explosion occurred about 20 minutes later at a house on Boemster Street, and a third at about 3:50 am on Verenhau Street. In both cases, explosives were placed at the entrance to the building.

Police arrested a 21-year-old man shortly after the second explosion and are investigating his involvement. They are investigating all three explosions and whether they are related. Investigators asked witnesses or anyone with relevant doorphone or dashcam footage to come forward.

Explosion at coffee shop in The Hague

The blast also damaged a coffee shop on Bilderdijkstrasse in The Hague overnight. The explosion occurred around 2 a.m. and no one was injured, police said. Police are investigating.
