Peter Gillis only later in court for alleged abuse, first ‘victim’ Nicol is questioned | show

The lawsuit against reality star and holiday park owner Peter Gillis has been postponed. He would appear in court on August 12 on suspicion of assaulting his girlfriend Nicol, but that will be a later date.

Gillis, and Nicol himself, deny the assault. Even the arrest at the end of May at the Ommelse holiday park, after which Gillis (60) spent a night and a day in jail, did not happen, according to them.

The postponement is at the request of lawyer Ton van de Biezenbosch. He first wants to hear a witness and the court has already allowed that in advance.

Van de Biezenbos does not yet want to say who the witness is, but sources confirm that it is Nicol Kremers, the alleged victim.

Police report

She has not reported any assault. But based on the police report, the Public Prosecution Service itself decided to prosecute Gillis. “And we don’t just do that,” said a spokesperson.

News of the prosecution was leaked last week. Gillis and Nicol are on holiday in Italy and there deny the accusation and the arrest in all tones. According to them, it is ‘stimulating in a good relationship’.
