Our Christmas and New Year specials focus on the main events happening in and around The Hague area suitable for expats and the international community.

Special Christmas and New Year highlights include Malieveld’s Groot Kerstcircus and a ‘Christmas Carol’ ballet for the whole family at Amare. You can see it at Paard or Hofvijver in the New Year.

There are many other events taking place in The Hague, such as the bonfire in Scheveningen and the annual New Year’s dive in Scheveningen.

we are the world That’s the title of Groot Kerstcircus Den Haag’s new show. The most beautiful Christmas circus in Holland will be seen in Mariveld from December 24th until he January 8th.

The name of the show was not chosen by chance. The circus is a universal art form in which all cultures and nationalities work together towards her one common goal. Its goal is to create an unforgettable show for the whole family.

A Christmas Carol, the world’s most famous Christmas story by Charles Dickens, returns to The Hague in a unique ballet version by the De Dutch Don’t Dance Division (DeDDDD). On December 25th, 26th, 28th and 29th, Christmas, dance and music lovers will enjoy Amare. Music is played live by Residentie Orkest.

Performance is suitable for young (6+) and older people. Since it is a dance and ballet performance, it is also suitable for overseas audiences. There are daytime performances and evening performances.

Start 2023 with PAARD’s Party of the Year. They’re going deep on New Year’s Eve this year!

New Year’s Eve at PAARD immerses you in a magical world of seas and oceans. They invite you and your friends to a feast filled with 20,000 leagues of pearls under the sea.Celebrate PAARD NYE with bubbles, bubbles, bubbles!

The Pearled will be transformed into two deep-sea themed halls and lounge areas.

Hofvijver is a place in the center of The Hague that can be seen in the New Year. Feast your eyes on his 10 minutes with a spectacular fireworks show. Remember: you can leave your own drinks and fireworks at home, there are many places in Hofvijver where you can buy drinks and in the city center it is forbidden to set off your own fireworks .
