Three dead, one hospitalized in head-on clashes in southwest Rotterdam

Three people were killed in a serious car accident near a motorway junction in Rotterdam-Zuid early Monday morning.
The crash occurred at Groene Kruisweg near the A15 slip road in Charlois. Police are investigating the possibility that the crash was head-on.
A fourth person, also involved in the crash, was taken to hospital.
The road remains closed while police and forensic experts try to pinpoint what happened.
Three children were seriously injured in another head-on collision with N329 near Oss shortly after 1am. The children’s parents had minor injuries.
The driver and passenger of the other car were arrested while police checked to see if he was under the influence of alcohol or drugs, broadcaster NOS said.
