,,Did he eat the whole generation of 1986? Samir Nasri or Homer Simpson? Where did it go wrong with the French star who was one of the Premier League’s most talented players?” These are just some of the reactions to Samir Nasri’s appearance in the benefit match between Olympique Marseille stars and a UNICEF team.
Nasri ended his career at Anderlecht last year. He previously played for Olympique Marseille, Arsenal, Manchester City, Sevilla, Antalyaspor and West Ham United.
The benefit match ended in a 7-4 victory for the team of Olympique Marseille, where Nasri played together with Daniel Van Buyten, Robèrt Pires, Djibril Cissé, Fabrizio Ravanelli and Didier Drogba. The latter made a hat-trick against Team UNICEF, where Patrick Kluivert, Jens Lehmann, Christian Karembeu and Ricardo Carvalho, among others, made an appearance.
