AC Milan can at least call itself the leader of the Serie A for a while. The team of coach Stefano Pioli won the spectacular away game against Bologna (2-4) with great difficulty.
Rafael Leão and Davide Calabria scored before halftime for AC Milan. After the break, Zlatan Ibrahimovic headed into his own goal and Musa Barrow equalized for Bologna (2-2). Bologna played with ten men from the 20th minute, after a red card for Adama Soumaoro. The home club had to continue after an hour with nine players after a red card for Roberto Soriano.
Ismaël Bennacer relieved AC Milan in the 84th minute (2-3). Ibrahimovic made up for his mistake from earlier in the match in the final minute.
AC Milan currently has a 1 point lead over Napoli, which has an away game against AS Roma on the agenda on Sunday. Mitchell Dijks and Jerdy Schouten were allowed to fill in for Bologna after the break. Sydney van Hooijdonk stayed on the bench with the home team.
