LEUVEN – One silver is not the other. Dylan van Baarle couldn’t even walk three weeks ago because of a fracture in his pelvis. His participation in the World Championships on the road was highly uncertain, to hoist himself full of question marks in his orange outfit. Sprinting into second place behind the unapproachable Julian Alaphilippe was a great reward for the loyal soldier who always stands his ground.
