Real Madrid is fourth in La Liga and in the Champions League, the Royal has to beat Mönchengladbach next week if it wants to advance to the next round. The season is therefore not going smoothly for the time being. The Spanish media is therefore harsh.
“Limit has been reached”
The Spanish sports newspaper ASH sees Zidane currently having his worst period at Madrid and sees several reasons to question him. He would be gradually losing the trust of the board, the dressing room and the supporters.
The results speak for themselves, but the goal difference is also significant, says ASH. In the Champions League, Real received nine goals and scored the same number. In La Liga, that balance is 16-12. In total, Real has scored an average of 1.66 goals per game. In the capital they are used to better. There is no efficiency in the front, in the back it is anything but an iron curtain.
Real is also struggling with many injuries, just think of Eden Hazard or Sergio Ramos. AS also doubts the value of Asensio, Vinicius, Militao and Jovic. His substitutions during the matches also meet with incomprehension. AS also noted that Zidane has lost his smile.
Mundo Deportivo doesn’t bother with it either: From bad to worse it says in chocolate letters on the front page.
