The total number of COVID patients admitted in the Netherlands on Saturday was 2,491. That’s 4 less than Friday. Of these 2,491 patients, 787 are in the ICU, an increase of 3 patients and 174 in the clinic, 7 patients less than yesterday. On Friday, 15 supraregional trips with the use of the LCPS were realized, 3 of which were IC.
On Saturday, 357 new COVID patients were admitted to Dutch hospitals, 50 more than the previous day. Of these, 53 were admitted to the ICU, 8 more than yesterday and 304 in the clinic, 42 more than yesterday. The average number of new admissions remains high and follows an upward trend.
Occupation Intensive Care Unit
The total occupancy decreased by 14 to 1,191 beds. There are now 787 COVID patients in the ICU, 3 more than yesterday and 404 non-COVID patients, 17 fewer than the previous day. The COVID occupancy in the IC is high and follows an upward trend.
The total occupancy has decreased by 760 to 13,184 beds. There are now 1,704 COVID patients in the clinic, 7 fewer than yesterday. The COVID occupancy in the clinic remains high and follows an upward trend.
