Arsenal, in turn, did not do what it had to do against Slavia Prague. At home, the team from London created the most opportunities, but for a long time it seemed that the redeeming opening goal was going to be missed. Five minutes before the end, substitute Nicolas Pépé took care of the redeeming goal, on a pass from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. However, it was not over yet, as Slavia came alongside in the fourth minute of injury time via Tomas Holmes: 1-1.
The fourth quarter final was between Dinamo Zagreb and Villarreal. The Spanish number 7 won the match 0-1, thanks to a striking penalty kick from top scorer Gerard Moreno.
