Angry farmers block Jumbo
ANP/HH
Nijkerk – Angry farmers blocking a warehouse door immediately creates holes in the supermarket shelf. “The stores will not be empty immediately, but fresh and products that customers buy a lot and often will be unavailable or less available,” says Frank Klören, financial director of supermarket chain Boni. “You simply buy a loaf of bread more often than a jar of paprika. The fast-selling products have been ordered, but we cannot deliver.”
