More than a dozen shots fired at Rotterdam apartment

On Wednesday morning, multiple shots were fired at an apartment building on Van Spikestraat in Rotterdam’s residential neighborhood of Oude Westen. At least 18 bullet holes can be seen in the atrium windows on the first, second and third floors. Rheinmond report. No one was hurt.

The shooting occurred around 6 a.m. and police reported finding shell casings at the scene. Witnesses told Rijnmond that investigators had installed at least 26 yellow evidence markers around the apartment building.

Police are investigating and asked witnesses to come forward.

Tuesday morning an explosion happened The entrance of the apartment next door. Locals told Rainmond that it was a big blow. The blast damaged the entrance and windows of the building and several parked cars.

A police spokesperson could not say whether Tuesday’s explosion and Wednesday’s shooting were related.
