BSN students connecting with the International Space Station

Tomorrow (December 8) at 12:09 CET, students from the British School Junior School Leidschenveen in the Netherlands will connect live to the International Space Station. Sixteen of his students at the school were selected to ask NASA astronaut Josh Kasada questions about space and his experience as an astronaut.

The satellite link that makes this event possible is being organized through Amateur Radio on the International Space Station (ARISS). ARISS is an international working group with delegations from 15 countries, including several European countries, Japan, Canada and the United States. The organization is run almost entirely by volunteers from amateur radio organizations nationwide. ARISS provides an opportunity for the school community (students, teachers, families and community members) to become more aware of the real benefits of human spaceflight and the exploration and discovery that occurs on spaceflight journeys.

This is a very rare and exciting opportunity with a live stream open to the public.the link is https://live.ariss.org/
