Viewing tipsBecause there is a lot to see on television every day, you can read the viewing tips for tonight here every morning. These are the recommendations for Sunday 28 November.

Aria

Final
NPO 1 – 8.25 pm

The final will be kicked off with a choral singing of the three finalists. The trio sings Libiamo ne’lieti calici from Verdi’s opera la traviata, perhaps the most famous opera fragment there is. Then the finalists stand alone and sing an aria individually. Who will be crowned the country’s new opera star? And perhaps more importantly: who is the wildly appending secret juror?

The big house renovation

With a lot of pain, effort and his last savings, Guido has bought an apartment in the center of Amsterdam. But it doesn’t look really pretty; the kitchen is old and the floor is not to look at. While Patty surprises Guido, creative genius Leonie starts sketching and turns the living room and kitchen into one big whole. But does Guido like these plans?

Ocean Wreck Investigation

New show
National Geographic – 8.30pm

Whether it is an iceberg, an attack with a torpedo or a lying sea mine; a shipping accident is just around the corner. Ocean Wreck Investigation takes a dive to the bottom of the sea to find out how some well-known wrecks ended up there. The documentary series kicks off with a dive trip to the German submarines UC66 and U87.

Our farm

NPO 1 – 9.25 pm

Last year, Yvon took Farmer looking for wife horse breeder Steffi to Denmark to check with the well-known horse trainer Andreas Helgstrand whether the farm grass is actually greener there. Not long after the trip, Steffi actually parked her favorite horse Hennessy in the Danish stable. Yvon goes to see how the stallion and Steffi are doing now.

DCI Banks

BBC First – 9pm

In this episode of the British crime series, Josh Tate’s body is found in a ravine. Although his roommate Spencer makes it appear that Josh was a quiet boy, it soon becomes clear that that is not quite the case. Josh was a welcome guest at the Exotica strip club, where his girlfriend often visited. When it becomes known that he did business with the shady ecstasy producer Beverley Calcutt, the investigation accelerates.
