The Dutch Embassy is looking for a Food Security Policy Officer. Food and nutrition security is one of the pillars of Dutch development cooperation in Uganda, which focuses on smallholder agriculture and strengthening its resilience to market failures and climate change.

The policy officer will be part of the Food and Nutrition Security Cluster, which is part of the Embassy’s development staff. The Netherlands is a long-standing development partner of Uganda and is active in food security/agriculture, private sector development, rule of law, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and refugee response. Climate, gender, human rights and youth concerns are cross-cutting themes.
