Year-old Lizzy from MAFS surprised by fellow candidate Danny Roex: ‘Super sweet!’ | Show

Lizzy Witlox from the popular RTL 4 program Married at First Sight was allowed to blow out 26 candles on Thursday and that had to be celebrated of course. But not without a special surprise from another MAFS celebrity, who gave the day some extra shine due to the lack of a big party due to the corona rules.

‘Unfortunately no birthday party due to corona, but how nice is it when friends come to surprise you’, writes an enthusiastic Lizzy with three photos of herself with Danny Roex. Danny, linked to Rein in the program, was spontaneously at the door with flowers and cake. ‘Super sweet!’, Lizzy exults.

In the sixth season of Married at First Sight, the wedding show in which couples who have never seen each other immediately marry each other, Lizzy is linked to police officer Lars. On the birthday photos that Lizzy shared, hubby Lars is nowhere to be seen, which led to many questions in the comments below the photos.

Rumors have already surfaced that the two would have split up in the meantime, especially after Lizzy shared on social media that she had bought an apartment. From this, fans of the program concluded that Lizzy did not move in with her new husband. In a response, Lizzy later stated that ‘marrying a stranger does not mean that we immediately start living together’. ‘And who, by the way, says that a woman should always move in with the man? Is it also possible the other way around? ‘

How Lizzy and Lars eventually really fared can be followed in the program, which can be seen every Monday and Tuesday on RTL 4. This week we saw how Lizzy subjected Lars’s bedroom to a first inspection, in which the bookcase in particular was the eye jumped.
