Public shared spaces are limited in Jakarta, but these spaces are essential for the well-being of citizens. Spaces provide people to meet, recreation, play, and practice sports. At the same time, increasing urbanization, especially in Indonesia, also presents societal challenges around climate, responsible use of available materials and the need for more sustainability. solution.

As such, we are looking for an Indonesian designer to team up with a Dutch designer to design and prototype a concept for an Indonesian neighborhood that currently lacks access to shared community space. Using bio-based and recycled materials and co-designing with selected Kampong residents to meet local demands and shareable results.
