Emmen Youth Care Center Caregiver Stabbed to Death – Northern Times
Two teenagers allegedly attacked and killed a supervisor at a child and adolescent care center in Emmen on Saturday, Dougblad van Het Norden report.
Drenthe police said in a Twitter post that the supervisor, a 26-year-old woman whose name was withheld, was stabbed with a knife.

Erik van Oosterhout Mayor Erik van Oosterhout said the police were not aware of what was happening at the Jorneo Center, a facility that provides “family support through accommodation” for young people between the ages of 12 and 18. He said he had launched an investigation into what happened.

The exact sequence of events is still unknown, but it is understood that the girl raised the alarm after witnessing the incident. Police arrived at the scene shortly after receiving a 911 call at approximately 8:30 p.m. His first alleged assailant, a 19-year-old man on Emmen Street, was taken into custody. A second suspect, his 16-year-old man, was arrested in Meppel late at night.
