HTM Introduces Haagse Hopper: Always Flexible Public Transport
From 1 January 2023, HTM will introduce a new service called Haagse Hopper. This service travels between Benordenhout and the center of The Hague. This 8-passenger bus operates on demand rather than on fixed routes. However, there are 12 fixed stops. You can choose where you want to hop on and off, and other travelers can hop on and off along the way. See map below.
Haagse Hopper buses can be identified by their HTM style and the Haagse Hopper logo.
The Hague Hopper operates from 07:00 to 21:00 on weekdays and from 12:00 to 24:00 on Saturdays and public holidays. The Hague Hopper does not operate on Sundays, except on public holidays.
Use the Ride Pingo app to book your Haagse Hopper for free. If you book by phone (0900-9281), there is a EUR 1 charge per call. For the ride itself, travelers pay at the driver’s door. The one-way fare for him is 1.50 euros. Payment is by bank card only.
