Keukenhof ends successful season

Keukenhof has successfully completed the 2023 season. that is, ‘Welcome back’ To visitors from all over the world. The former gave the flower exhibition a score of 8.6. About 1.4 million people visited the park during its eight-week opening.

The majority of visitors are from the Netherlands (20%), followed by Germany, the US, France and the UK. Visitors from Asia have also returned, but not as many as before COVID-19. This season the park has welcomed visitors from over 100 countries.

Keukenhof uses arrival times, so the average number of visitors per day was about the same as last season. This not only improved transportation to and from the park, but also improved the experience of people in the park. Keukenhof will continue to pay attention to this point.

Keukenhof was sold out on multiple weekends during Easter, including the day of the Flower Parade and the weekend of May 1st. Many campers gathered in the Keukenhof parking lot.

This year saw an increase in the number of tourists arriving on public transport and on hop-on hop-off tours.

20% of Keukenhof visitors traveled directly to the park via the Keukenhof Express from Schiphol, Leiden, Amsterdam RAI and Haarlem.

Keukenhof employs 40 full-time employees throughout the year. During the season, the organization grows to 1,000 employees.

Keukenhof has hired a coordinator for the ‘Leading Entrepreneurship’ program and the Light Bulb Conference, which brings together business people to collectively address contemporary challenges.

Next year, the Keukenhof will celebrate its 75th anniversary and the park’s activities will be coordinated. In 2024 Keukenhof will be open from his 21st March to his 12th May.
