No trains run between The Hague and Leiden until the early hours of Friday 21 April.
ProRail today announced that it is now able to fully assess the damage caused by the train crash that occurred near Voorschoten station last Tuesday. They have since fixed the date that train services from The Hague to Leiden can resume at 05:00 from Tuesday 18 April to Friday 21 April.
ProRail contractors have been repairing the track since Wednesday morning after the accident at Voorschoten. Among other things, overhead lines, rails, sleepers and damaged safety systems need to be repaired.
ProRail understands that this extra annoyance is very annoying to passengers. However, NS deploys buses between The Hague and Leiden.
