Pascal Van Welsh (General Manager): “We are proud to celebrate our 30th anniversary and are delighted to reflect on the incredible journey we have taken since our opening in 1993. What began as an ambitious project has grown into an internationally recognized center for aquatic education and conservation.Over the past 30 years, we have worked to provide unique and meaningful experiences for our visitors. We have always innovated and invested, starting with a single exhibit and expanding our aquarium to showcase a wide range of marine animals from around the world.”

On June 1st, the Sea Scan app was released. The app allows visitors to scan fascinating marine animals with their mobile phones and receive valuable information about their features and habitats. “This will enrich the interaction between visitors and the animals and give them a better understanding of the importance of biodiversity and conservation,” said Pascal Van Welsh.
