You can catch a dance performance on Thursday, February 2nd. Mother’s White by dance theater AYA & Silbersee, where skin color and privilege play a decisive role. White mothers see their black children bullied and harassed because of their skin color. when will she step in?
On February 3rd and 4th, lovers of delicious, expertly brewed special beers can look forward to the Winter Beer Festival in the atmospheric tents of the Grote Markt. Over 60 of his beers from all over Holland will be tasted by the brewer himself during his two days. Tastings are done in 15cl glasses, so different brews can be properly appreciated.
American Women’s (AWC) The Hague is pleased to announce that the first of the 2023 AWC The Hague Lecture Series will take place on Friday, February 3rd at 20:00 at the AWC Club House. The guest speaker will be Professor Herman Russchenberg, Vice-Chancellor for Climate Action at Delft University of Technology, who will speak on climate change. what are our options?
On Sunday 5th February the Museon will host a performance of a jazz/rock opera by Luca Warmer and Nikos Charalambous.
Luca Warmer and Nikos Charlambous are musicians based in Rotterdam and The Hague respectively. Both have a deep understanding of traditional jazz music and have been experimenting with his effects pedals, sounds and samples in recent years.
