Taylor Swift announces Amsterdam concert dates during Ellas tour

Taylor Swift has announced plans for a 26-date European tour next year, including two in Amsterdam. The concert dates are a continuation of her ongoing Eras tour, which began in March in Glendale, Arizona, USA.

The Amsterdam show will take place on 5th and 6th July 2024.Fans wishing to attend the show at the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam Must register for ticket Concert promoter Greenhouse Talent said Ticketmaster will have more opportunities to access the sales system by 11:59 p.m. Friday.

“Registered fans who receive a unique code will be given initial access to purchase tickets,” Greenhouse Talent said in a statement. “Registration does not guarantee access to ticket sales or purchases.”

Those wishing to register for tickets were forced to queue online Tuesday night. Greenhouse Talent said even those who successfully registered and were lucky enough to access the ticketing site may not be able to complete their purchases.

Ticket prices for the European concerts have not been announced, but tickets in the US start at around $50 and go up to $450, with VIP add-on packages costing as much as $900. About 2.4 million tickets for The Eras Tour were sold in the United States in one day. According to Billboard, Swift’s U.S. ticket sales revenue is expected to be close to $600 million.

The tour, which lasted over three hours for each performance, was well received. The 33-year-old singer constructed a setlist of over 40 songs by creating numerous mini-sets connected by her themes.

The tour’s European leg begins on May 9 in Paris. Swift will then visit Stockholm, Lisbon, Madrid, Lyon, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Cardiff, London and Dublin before arriving in the Netherlands.

After staying in Amsterdam, they will visit Zurich, Milan, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Munich, Warsaw and Vienna before returning to London in mid-August for two shows to end the tour. “Fans wishing to purchase tickets for multiple cities will need to register separately for each city they wish to visit,” Greenhouse Talent said.
