The Weekend Special focuses on the main events taking place in and around The Hague region, suitable for expats and the international community.
This weekend’s highlights include the Rewire music festival, the Malieveld trade fair, the Easter market at Lange Voorhout and the flowers at Keukenhof.
There are many other events happening this weekend, including a Linked Social event and a Dutch masterclass conducting concert.

Enjoy your Easter weekend
Rewire Festival has announced the full musical line-up for its 12th edition, which will take place in The Hague city center from 6th to 9th April. This includes many (world) premieres, commissioned projects and unique collaborations that reflect Rewire’s purpose. Building a platform to foster musical experimentation, exploration and innovation.
As a tradition, there are always large fairs in Marifert around Easter and King’s Day. With around 60 attractions, the fair is structured for everyone’s enjoyment.
Between Homemade Easter Market At Lange Voorhout, numerous exhibitors showcase a wide range of products. For four days, this market allows you to wander through stalls lined with clothing, jewelry, antiques, books, and items from your mother’s and grandmother’s time. The market is daily from 11:00 to 18:00, but the food trucks and music he continues until 21:00.
The Flower Exhibition Keukenhof welcomed its first visitors on the morning of March 23rd. The park in spring is a popular place to enjoy millions of blooming tulips, daffodils and other bulbous flowers.
From now until May 14, 2023, well over 1 million people from around the world are expected to visit the exhibition.
