One person was killed and three wounded in a shooting in Brantham, Limburg, late Tuesday night. This is his one of two deadly violent crimes committed in the area. In another incident in Beek, about 15 kilometers away, a man died from a stab wound.

Police said the shooting in Brunsom occurred around 10:15 pm on Kohlhofstrasse. Emergency services reported that police and paramedics were immediately dispatched to the scene. Shortly thereafter, a medical trauma team was dispatched by helicopter.

Not far from there, a stabbing occurred in another house in southern Limburg. Authorities said Beek was first notified of the incident at Geverikerstraat around 10:50 p.m.
